Business Incubator in the Commune of Ksar El Majaz – Fahs-Anjra Province

Business Incubator in the Commune of Ksar El Majaz – Fahs-Anjra Province

As part of an effort to identify new mechanisms for encouraging young people to launch their own businesses—and with the goal of establishing the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region as a leader in business promotion and creation—the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, in partnership with the Prefecture of Fahs-Anjra and various local, national, and international institutions focused on economic affairs and local development, has established a business incubator in the commune of Ksar El Majaz, in the province of Fahs-Anjra.

A project aimed at fostering an environment conducive to encouraging private initiatives and integration into the local socio-economic fabric.
It is a non-profit endeavor, designed to create income-generating activities for young entrepreneurs and project initiators from the Fahs-Anjra province.
A building was constructed by the Fahs-Anjra Provincial Administration in the commune of Ksar Sghir, spanning an area of 500 square meters and consisting of three levels. Under a partnership agreement, the Chamber equipped the first floor with the necessary office furniture and IT equipment, intended to ensure the success of a business incubator project and a training center for maritime professions.
- Incubation and logistical support for project initiators
- Team building and training for entrepreneurs
- Project scouting
- Guidance for project structuring
- Provision of office space and operational equipment to beneficiaries
- Project feasibility studies
- Assistance in securing funding
- Facilitating the professional integration of 50 young diploma holders each year by supporting them in establishing their own businesses—providing them with a base and a launchpad within the "business incubator" created by the Chamber for this purpose.
- Fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth in this burgeoning region, which is home to Africa’s largest port—Tanger Med—and surrounded by an extensive network of industrial zones, logistics hubs, and economic activity areas.
