Its competence extended to Tangier-Asilah. In 1958, the Chamber was governed by a Dahir on the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Morocco. On April 2nd, 2014, a framework convention was concluded to promote the role of the Chamber in accordance with the regional approach of Morocco. Thus, the Chamber became a representative of trade, industry and services sectors in the Region of Tangier-Tetouan Al Hoceima.
Historical Background and introduction: The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services in the Tangiers-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is a public institution with a legal personality and financial autonomy, under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy.The Chamber represents the professionals of trade, industry and services sectors in the region of Tangier-Tetouan Al Hoceima, before local, regional, provincial and national public authorities, as well as international organizations and institutions working in its fields of work.
Every trader, company and service provider subject to professional tax and belongs to the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is a member of the Chamber.

Historical overview
The Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services of Tangier, Tetouan and Hoceima have been grouped into a single regional chamber named Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima. In accordance with Law No. 12.24 of August 4, 2015, which integrates 28 local chambers into 12 regional chambers, in accordance with the new territorial development according to the perspective of regionalism, the regional chamber became member through 8 provinces and municipalities: Tangier Asyla, Tetouan, Al-Hoceima, Larache, Fahs-Anjra, Ouazzane, M’Diq, Fnideq, Chefchaouen
The Chamber of Commerce of Tangier was founded on April 2, 1947, under the name of the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce, on the initiative of some local merchants. At that time, the limits of its powers extended to the territory of Tangier. In 1958, it was regulated by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Moroccan Dahir.
The convention was signed on April 2, 2014, with the aim of implementing the role of the Chambers in accordance with the regional orientation adopted by our country. The Chamber has thus become representative of the trade, industry, and services sectors of Tangier-Tetouan Al-Hoceima.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Tangier Tetouan Al-Hoceima is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy, placed under the control of the Government and under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Chamber represents the professionals of the trade, industry, and services sectors of Tangier Tetouan Al-Hoceima before local, regional and national public authorities as well as international organizations and institutions working in the fields related to its functions.
Any trader, industrialist, and professional service provider subject to professional tax and belonging to Tangier Tetouan Al-Hoceima is affiliated to the Chamber.
