In preparation for the ordinary session of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region—scheduled for October—a working meeting of the Finance and Budget Committee was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the Chamber’s regional headquarters in Tangier. The meeting was convened to deliberate on the following agenda items:
1. A presentation on the execution of the Chamber’s budget for the year 2026;
2. A presentation of the Chamber’s draft budget for the year 2027.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Hanane Tahar, Chair of the Finance and Budget Committee, and was attended by the President of the Chamber, Mr. Abdellatif Afailal, and the Vice-President, Mr. Anouar Arbai.
Also in attendance were the following members:
• Mohamed Azmizem, member of the Finance and Budget Committee;
• Abdellah Bouchta, member of the Finance and Budget Committee;
• Mounir El Hadouti, Chair of the Economic and Social Affairs Committee;
• Zoubir Azzouz, Chair of the Media and Communication Committee;
• Adil Kiki, Chair of the Advisory Committee for Professional Affairs in the Ouezzane Province;
• Abdelilah Jarjour, member of the Internal Trade Committee;
• Mohamed Soufi, member of the Green and Blue Economy and Environment Committee;
• Abdeslam Akhmach, member of the Industry Committee;
• Mustapha Abdelghafour, member of the Chamber.
Representing the administration were:
• Ms. Hasnaa El Harchni, Head of the Finance and Administrative Department;
• Mr. Bilal Bazdi, official within the Institutional Relations Department.
Ms. Hanan Al-Tahir opened the meeting with welcoming remarks, thanking the attendees for accepting the invitation and participating in the committee’s proceedings. She highlighted the importance of this meeting, which focuses on reviewing the implementation status of the 2026 budget, discussing the draft budget for 2027, and gathering observations and proposals to refine the two documents—which had been distributed to committee members—prior to their submission to the Executive Board.
In this context, a detailed presentation was delivered regarding the implementation status of the Chamber’s 2026 budget, alongside an overview of the proposed 2027 budget.
Following the presentation, all items on the agenda were discussed, and a series of recommendations and proposals were put forward, aimed at enhancing the Chamber’s operations in a manner that serves its objectives and the interests of its members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chair expressed her gratitude to all participants for their constructive feedback and suggestions, confirming that the recommendations from this session would be presented to the Executive Board for review and appropriate decision-making during its upcoming meeting.
